The 2014 World Acadian Congress provided an opportunity to gather in Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac on August 9 and 10 for the annual Leclerc family reunion. About a hundred members of our Association accepted the invitation and enjoyed this beautiful region. With the sun shining, many visited Fort Ingall and the Aster station or strolled along the shores of magnificent Lake Témiscouata. A delicious dinner and a lively evening rounded out the first day…. Sunday morning began with the General Assembly, followed by Mass at the Church of Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac, just a stone’s throw from our gathering place. This was followed by brunch and the departure of the participants, who were grateful for the warm welcome they had received.
